Silje is a singer, songwriter and pianist from Norway. She is now based in Oslo, after spending four years in the UK getting a music degree and gigging extensively. She's played in London, Liverpool, Manchester and Lancaster to mention a few, performed on Spanish radio and on Manchester TV. She playes alone with her piano and guitar, or backed by a trio of exellent musicians.

Siljes music is a heady tincture of rock, alternative pop and folk, spiced with jazz and norwegian traditional music. Her lyrics are described as intelligent, thought provoking, image evoking; her vocal style as personal, emotional, reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush.
