Contributors among others include Matthew Porcaro (Drums), Oliver Sampson (bass), and Todd Serafin (guitars).
Song styles and topics are quite diverse, with pop, rock, metal, and instrumental all represented. And though influenced by rock music of the 1970s and 1980s, the group pushed aside fluffier song designs in favor of more elaborate instrumentation and lyric-centric composition .
‘Heretic’, the first release from Swimming, gained national recognition as it climbed to the #4 position on one of Broadjam.com’s listener charts.
