Katie's a force of nature. Her exceptional talents as a singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and pianist were fostered from an early age. She was raised in a family of artists, rehearsing in the basement dance studio between her father's recording sessions, and her mother's paintings.

Katie attended school at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California. While studying to be an actress she wrote so much music that she began thinking more seriously about a career in it. After graduation she met songwriter named Michael McLean who asked Katie to sing on the first release of his musical ""The Ark"". Katie later performed in the musical while trying to find a producer for her own music. Since her first meeting with Michael McLean in 1997, Katie has been his lead vocalist on four of his CDs including ""Safe Harbors"", ""Connie Lou's Christmas"", and ""The Forgotten Carols Anniversary Edition"". She was nominated for a Pearl Award for her Vocal Performance on Safe Harbors, and for an Indie Award for ""Connie Lou's Christmas"" which she also co-produced, all of which are on the SHADOW MOUNTAIN record label.

After years of being the backup singer, the contract player, the special guest artist, singing everybody else's songs from operatic dance tracks in Los Angeles to Opryland song-and-dance shows in Nashville... Katie brings her pipes to an original album all her own.

""What I've Done Right""is an original, cathartic representation of her. Produced by John Hancock and under her own label, TEMPER RECORDS, this CD is a mix of earthy, Pop-Rock Alternative music in a style completely new.

As an actress, Katie was last seen as Connie Lou in ""The Forgotten Carols"" Christmas tour. She was last seen locally in ""Lion Hunt"", directed by Kate Danley, and ""Stand Up Shakespeare"", directed by Casey Biggs at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, California, where she currently lives.

Katie performs with a piano between acting gigs, and is a guest artist of many of the bands that cross her path. She is a multitalented artist and an electric performer. She hopes this CD is the first of many that enable her to perform and sing for the rest of her life.

For a more complete Bio of Katie's past experience see her album ""What I've Done Right"".
