*ERWIN CHANDLER holds a MASTER OF MUSIC DEGREE from Indiana University where he studied with PHILIP FARKAS,former Solo Homist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra,and author of THE ART OF HORN PLAYING and THE ART OF BRASS PLAYING.
Mr Chandler has performed with the Reading Symphony Orchestra,the Pottstown Symphony Orchestra (Principal Horn) the Alleghany Music Festival Orchestra(Principal Hom),the American Wind Symphony Orchestra(Pittsburgh),and the Reading Brass Quintet. He is the co-founder of the BERKSHIRE BRASS QUINTET.
* As a free-lance musician, he has performed with orchestras backing JOHNNY MATHIS,LOLA FALANA,ELVIS PRESLEY,ANDY WILLIAMS,HENRY MANCINI., OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, PETULA CLARK,STARS OF LAWRENCE WELK SHOW He has served on the staff orchestras of the VALLEY FORGE MUSIC FAIR and the HERSHEY THEATER.

* MR. CHANDLER earned a B.S.Degrcc in Music Education from ITHACA COLLEGE(NY) and a M.S.Degree in pcrformance from INDIANA UNIVERSITY (BLOOMINGTON,IND) Hc has taught in thc PORT JERVIS,N.Y. PUBLIC SCHOOLS,MURRAY STATE UNIVERSITY,TIDEWATER MUSIC CAMP, LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE MUSIC CAMP , INTERLOCHEN NATIONAL MUSIC CAMP , LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE,MILTON HERSHEY SCHOOL.
Hc and his wife,PATRICE, sharc a Music Studio in Rcading PA.

*As a COMPOSER, Mr.Chandler has recieved several commissions and awards. Hc is the recipient of thc prestigious GEORGE WASHINGTON MEDAL OF HONOR for high achievement in composition for his work "THE CONSTITUTION" (VALLEY FORGE FREEDOM FOUNDATION). His compositions. have been performed in Europc as well as.throughout the USA. Grants from MEET THE COMPOSER were awarded for appearances at colleges and high schools whcre hc has served as guest ... Lccturc,Clinician,as wcll as Conductor for his own compositions.

*In addition,he is very active as a JAZZ PIANIST/HORNIST as well as a composer of over 400 Jazz songs.He has composed music in many styles and for a variety of Instrumental combinations.

*Mr. Chandler is a member of A.S.C.A.P and AFM local 132-211
