once the former front man (and 2nd cousin to the great tommy steele) for one of the bermondsey beat groups "the scene"and who was managed by former status quo manager pat barlow and producer phill palmer he realy has gone from strenth to strenth and in an early interview with the southwark and bermondsy news he was asked what it was like being compared to the likes of paul weller and steve marriott he said "wow realy thats realy made my day you no i just get up on stage a do my thing i dont try to be someone els
but i think it does come out sometimes the weller in me ha ha"
now hes solo and loveing the music he is producing "i havent been recording or playing for the past six years so its kind of like a come back for me" "im recording my first solo album which should be finished end of january 2008 and the first single off the album is still undecided"

John Cade News

With his debut tune on overplay it was always going to be a gamble but john has managed to pull of a #2 in the indie charts with his self penned hit "someday"
and a cool #5 in the overall charts with the same song but it wasnt for long as "someday" has sliped from #2 to #4 in the indie charts and the overall charts #14 but what a debut on overplay a top 10 in both charts.

please keep this guy on top.........
