Tidal Fury have recently joined an exclusive club by being endorsed by Tanglewood Guitars, the UK's biggest guitar seller (55,000 guitars sold last year). They now are counted amongst world renouned stars such as Corrine Bailey-Ray, Travis and The Killers. Their fan base also includes artists such as Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden), Donny Tourette (Towers Of London) and Toby Jepson (Little Angels). Now signed to Fk Music Management, they have just launched their new EP 'Lay Down & Take It' to a capacity crowd @ Fibbers (Barfly) in their home town of York. 2008 see's a continuous UK tour, with an album and European Tour planned for 2009. Hi Folks,

Here's the link to listen to the Tidal Fury BBC Radio session from Thursday. We were on the radio twice that night. The first at 6.30pm on Minster FM (Pre-Recorded on Tuesday) and live at 8.30pm on the BBC. What a great night and superb fun.

The EP Launch saw Fibbers register 199 (official figures) through the door - the capacity is 200. Hopefully it will open the bands up to Barfly and other UK venues/festivals.

There is a lot more work to do through the bands and FK Music Management. The gig list is growing, and saying that we all work to gain contacts and a bit of publicity, I think it was a great job all around. All of the bands brought supporters, friends and relatives - good result folks, many thanks.

The Tidal Fury EP's arrived at WASP today - so please help the cause and either order or get orders. The money goes towards the cost of running of the band and future recordings and merchandise etc.

We have been agreeing and producing the 2008 plans for Megawatt, Velvet Star, Sidewinder, Miles Cain & of course Tidal Fury - so any help, feedback or advise going forward would be most welcome. As you know, we do this as a labour of love for local live music, so any help is welcome.
