At the age of 27, Levi is going to be the next hottest young country/rock singer-songwriter to come out of Canada. With his deep voice, soulful sound and passion to write about truth and real life you can be sure the world will see his name up in lights VERY soon. With more than 14 years of playing, writing and singing experience under his belt it’s easy to see why he’s devoted his life to music. It’s his passion and reason for living. Levi says “ I play and write not for the fame or fortune but for the chance to hopefully inspire people to better themselves and live happier lives. To me… that alone is a reward in itself and is what pushes me to do what I do”
Since an early age he’s been performing and singing and has opened up for such acts as Farmers Daughter, Beverly Mahood and David Lee Murphy. He’s competed in numerous contents across Canada and was even nominated for a YTV achievement award at the at of 16. His first band at 17 was called Horse N Around and they quickly gained recognition from their peers and were playing the best clubs, fairs and jams around the Ottawa Valley. Wayne Rostad host of the C.B.C show On the Road Again once said “Horse N Around sure kept my attention, they are one hell of a band.” Lead singer Mark Mcdonell from the band Ambush says “ Their lead singer has one of the most unique voices I’ve ever heard in a long time. Watch out for these guys!!! “
After giving 3 years to Horse N Around, Levi knew it was time to further his career and record. He then made a 3 song demo, that he used to promote himself with. That hard work and effort recently landed him a recording deal with Outback Records out of Illinois. He’s recently put together a smoking new band and plans on getting back to touring, performing and is set to release the new full length album in 2006. It’s an album that is sure to make a few heads turn.
This is definitely Levi’s year to shine. Look out for this guy folks he’s talented, passionate and more determined then ever to make it onto your radio station.

Levi’s First Official 2007 News Letter

First let’s revisit 2006. It was an eventful year for me. Behind many uncertain doors I opened I found truth, love, pain and hard work. All of which I was extremely determined and ready to face head on. For me it was a time of an awakening. I realized in 2006 what my dreams would require to unfold. As with anything It proved to be much more than I anticipated, however with all great things comes great work and so forth I moved on. I moved to Calgary in September 2005 and was blessed to find a record label after a few months who believed in me called Outback Records.
By April 2006 we were in Nashville recording the debut album “Never too late to change”. This alone was an experience I’ll never forget.
In May we started touring the Alberta venues promoting and perfecting our live shows gaining area recognition for our amazingly energetic performances. This is truly one of the reason’s I love to do what I do. Performing for you guys is best high anyone could get.
August we Launched the first ever “Levi” radio single to Canada “Dancing in my mind” which debued at #84. At this point we still had not solidified our distribution deal so to have a song go to that high of a level was an extremely powerful and proud moment for all of us. You have no idea how much it means to me knowing the song to this day is still being played and requested, thanks to YOU!
September we attended the CCMA’s and made many new industry contacts who have their sites on us now whom never did before. I met great people in the industry, peers and friends and all supportive of my music and dreams.
October, we launched the official Levi website at www.levi-music.com Check it out!!! Plus a brand new free forum!
December, the Record Label added us to the radio “Promo Only” distribution CD with the likes of George Strait, Gretchen Wilson and Pat Green just to name a few. This I’ll admit I was a little bit stunned to see. My name beside some of the greats I’ve grown up admiring was more than flattering.
And that’s it for 2006! Wow looking back… what an amazing year this has been. Sooooo much has happened and so many little gears and wheels have started. Now it’s just a matter of keeping them well oiled in 2007.




Here is what we have to look forward to in 2007!

January, I’ll be going back to writing and have taken the month off from touring live. Most likely we won’t be back till March some time with our new and improved show! We plan on going all over western Canada if possible and we may even head down to the states for a small tease tour. I know I have a lot of American fans that send me messages everyday asking when we’ll be down there. Trust me folks I want to come see you JUST as badly!
February, the Label will be FINALLY launching “Dancing in my mind” to the United States and a Brand New Single to Canada! If you could tell the future…you’d know what song it is. Then again all you’d really need is a Crystal Ball ;-)
Also in Early 2007 we hope to finalize our distribution talks and record our first Video! I’ll admit I’m totally psyched about that. I’ve been wanting a Video for a long time and having a distribution company to back us up is VERY important in getting our songs out to all of you. I know it’s not always possible for everyone to shop online so I can’t wait for that to get done!
Through out the summer and late spring months we plan on touring as much as we possibly can. We want to hit as many fairs and festivals as possible and bring our live show as close to you as possible. I have to admit as hard as it may be I truly believe we can have an even more exciting and eventful year then the last. I know this because I have the best support from my family and some of the best fans in the world. You guys truly do rock! The emails and notes I get of encouragement mean more to me than you can imagine. I love knowing my purpose is actually being heard by you and making a difference. I may have a few speed bumps along the road and it may take a few try’s at getting everything done properly but hey… Only GOD always gets it right the first time!
