Krank is a true Canadian Hard Rock Band, whose members have been performing almost since their inception into the world of music. Chris, front man and lyricist for the Calgary based group has been active in the artistry of music for years having attended Brandon University School of Music after departing High School, and performing and touring with such acts as Dick ‘N’ Jane, Belly Button Window, Stick Kill Fish, Themm, to name a few and receiving FACTOR funding for the CD release “Piggies in Pig Heaven”. Chris has shared the stage with the likes of Glueleg. Tommy Chong, Mudhoney, DRI, The Bourban Tabernacle Choir and many more performing on the mainstage of the Highwood Music Festival and touring across Canada. Dwayne, born with a guitar in hand has performed across Eastern Canada as well as with Western Bands such as Asfault and Un-Possible. Dwayne has a writing style based in Nu-Metal blended with an 80’s Metal Style. Jeff, Bass player and long time stage performer along with Mike, on drums makes the lineup of Krankcase a band strong in performance and strong in song-writing.

As a new project, Krank hit the studio early to release their demonstration CD; entitled Krankcase. The CD feature the following new music from the Calgary based Hard Rock Project

Lines: The Feature Single on the Demonstration CD (TRACK 1) has a hard rock driving rhythm, accompanied by a melodic rap style vocal. The song is based on a time when many of life’s troubles could be solved by an all night binge party.

Mother Say: The Follow up Track to Lines (Track 2) A melodic hard rock ballad style song that hits home with strong melody and harmony throughout. The song is based around the story of someone who has come face to face with the realization that not all decision that have been made are the right ones…

3 Hours: The B-Side single of the Demonstration CD (TRACK 3). 3 hours is a rock and roll melodic chugfest, featuring strong melody and harmony and a hook that keeps the listener around for more.

As a test Market for Krank. The Feature Single Lines was entered on the Garageband.com competition. Within 2 weeks of its debut on the Hard Rock Chart it jumped into the top 100 and received four awards” The Most Original Song of the week”, “The Most Melodic Song of the Week”, “ The Track of the Day”, and the “Most Rocking Track of the Week”. Hard Rockin With A Metal Twist
what great hard rock track. Those riffs are approaching metal boys but the concise melodic lyrics keep it hovering on the edge. I don't know why you asked for no comments on the production because it is far better than half the crap I wade through on this site looking for some decent bands. Performance is top notch here, song is catchy, I was singing right along by two and half minutes in! Very radio friendly with the possibility of crossing over to fans of the lighter metal genre. Stellar job boys!

Hard rock!
This track rocks my brains out. Nice song. Very original, not so often you see that. Guitars are fucking awesome. No comment on production then
