The main objective of Lefamu Productions is arranging,producing,and recording quality music for all to enjoy. Gary Lee came from the east coast to the west coast & grew up in the San Francisco bay area. He went to Bell Haven Elementary, Green Oaks, and Ravenswood High School in East Palo Alto. Over the years he was able to experience the joy of working with many local talented artists: Tony Simon, John Handy Jr. Ted Grant, Joe Wilson, David Hill, Adam Cain, Phil Bossett,Ronald Lacy, John Lee Lawson, Greg Qualls, Shirley Puckett, the late great Michael Mc Griff, Tommie Moore,the late Jukueba Brown, Beverly Johnson,Billy Miller,Ce Ce and Rose, Regina Thompson,Darrell Williams, Harold Jones, Mike Rosenbaum,Melvin(LT)Thomas,Jerry Williams,Percy Wade,Keith Hames, Rodney Gattis, Bobby Dread, Roy Lacy, Joe Wilson,Jimmy Stamper, Bubba Washington, Bill Whatley, Felix (Flex) Carter, Dewayne Sweet,Jersey,Edward Crockett,John Ogne,Jimi Jones,Rodney (Jamal) Davis,Eric Hayslett,David Johnson and my family in Huntsville Alabama, The EJAYS--Enorris Johnson,Enesha Johnson, and George(A'pollo) Knaife,and many,many others! He also has played in various bands over the last few years as a keyboardist and a vocalist and has worked and collaborated with such artists as the late Mary Wells, Cecil Womack, and the late ""Bumps"" Blackwell who was responsible for helping to start the careers of Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, James Brown, and many other famous artists of today!Lefamu (lay-fah-mew) was started in 1994 to write, record, and produce quality music for all to enjoy. A little old school ballads, a twist of rock, and a frosting of funk! We are primarily old school, funk and rhythm and blues, but you can expect to hear all styles of music from us!Music makes the world go round! We offer many custom services for artists also, recording, consultation, live show and party packages complete with our band, pa system, and if requested a live DJ in between band breaks!
