She writes about things that happen to her and to others.

Her singing style has been compared to Blossom Dearie, Joni Mitchel and Norah Jones.

Kid Wezel has just released a new CD called Shady Blues. It's a collection of 8 tracks of original material and 3 collaborations with other artists on the internet.

The song styles are mostly jazzy blues with a rock number and a singer/songwriter style song.

Kid is currently running her Outrageous Open stage - now in it's third year - at a downtown Toronto bar called the Smiling Buddha.

This event happens every other Saturday afternoon. The next one is on Saturday October 1. They run between 2pm and 5pm.
