Impetus is in the studio working to complete the third and final CD, Triskelle. The first album, EVP, was Downing's way of dealing with his wife Samantha's cancer diagnosis. The follow-up, The Existential Mode of Living, was completed just prior to Samantha's death in spring 2005 and was a catharsis for getting through the cancer process. Triskelle focuses on the aftermath and is entirely dedicated to Samantha.
