Mark Pullin - Bass & Vocals
Andrew Pittaway - Drums & Vocals
Andy Margrett - Guitar
Andy Huntley - Acoustic Guitar & Lead Vocals

A band that everyone is talking about with folk and roots music in its soul, Audiocalm has now added more adrenalin to the mix to stunning effect. The band has evolved a hard edge to match singer Andy Huntley's heartfelt lyrics and soaring vocals that draws you in when watching live. The perfect combination of stab-you-in-the-heart lyrics and violently peaking guitars has now become the bands stock-in-trade.

This Cardiff based 4 piece have been in the studio with Amazing producers including Ian Grimble, the man in the control room when Travis created The Man Who and the Manics recorded This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours. Grimble, (Travis, MSP, Boy Kill Boy) was drawn to the band by the melodies, the quality of the songs and the bands ability to write catchy hit singles.

The track off 'Polarity' called 'Too Much' was carefully examined by expert music industry judges and placed in the top 5 as a semi finalist in the UK Song-writing Contest. The contest is held in association with the BRIT trust, The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, BBC Radio, The World Music Foundation and other industry bodies. It also had an honourable mention at the Billboard Magazine World Song Contest.

Already making waves as a live act, Audiocalm have been voted best emerging band in the UK after finishing runners-up in the Worlds largest and most prestigious 'Global Battle of the Bands'. They have appeared at some of the largest festivals in UK including sets at 'In The City' in Manchester and 'Get Loaded In the Park- Metro Weekender'.

Over the past couple of years Audiocalm have played and collaborated with many big names in the Industry. Including some vocal sessions with Super Producers 'Hybrid' and successful tour dates with the likes of 'Jamie T', 'Pull Tiger Tail', 'Jack Penate','The Magic Numbers', 'Newton Faulkner' and 'Brett Anderson' (Suede)'

The debut album is being produced and engineered by top producer Mark Pullin(Ten Years After).

Mark took an interest in the band at a time when the original bassist departed. As well as helping mould the Audiocalm sound Mark has now become a permanent fixture in the band, on bass.

Mark has added new depth to the sound with his awesome bass-lines. This is very evident in the quality of latest tracks from their forthcoming album "POLARITY!"

All bare emotion and quiet musical strokes, and very lovely it is too. - BBC RADIO1

'Audiocalm are THE best acoustically led rock band in South Wales. Full of emotion, melody and adventure, Audiocalm are fantastic musically and fantastic lyrically. Fall is a feisty heart-pounding piece and lead track, the astounding Too Much gets the hairs standing with pure emotion. Its so good it came close to winning a music writers award and people are starting to take notice. Audiocalm play chilled out music where the power of the lyrics and the pulsing blends of the music work in tandem to create beautiful harmony.' - PLUGGED IN MAGAZINE
